Vancouver and Victoria Convention 2008

Lemon Heaven Convention Summary
Vancouver/Victoria 08

Almost all franchisees were in attendance and we really
accomplished a great deal and had a lot of fun.

Everyone had great a great deal to contribute and discuss during
our meetings. We had great discussions on cups and the issue of
"going green" just to name a couple.

Everyone had a chance to see the new Stainless Steel Arena Cart.

We all saw the new mobile cart/trailer and how it expands.

We saw the new back pen enclosure that was designed to store
extra supplies and clean up the back end.

We saw the new welded kiosk frame and stainless steel counters.

We saw the portable sink system.

We saw the Lemon Heaven Concession Trailer.

We enjoyed a night of Pizza & Beer at Boston Pizza.
Cheer up Chris.

We enjoyed a CFL Football game where Lemon Heaven was
operating Five Lemon Heaven Kiosks, Four Cotton Candy
Trees and many Seat Vendors.

When all the main meetings had been completed the remaining
group caught the ferry to beautiful Victoria BC. All met for
breakfast aboard the BC Ferry.

Some wondered if there was enough room for two ferries to
pass in the narrow channel.

It turns out there's just enough room.

The Magnolia Hotel was a beautiful boutique hotel in the heart
of Victoria with spectacular views of the inner harbour.

The rooms and service were both great. Once again we took an
opportunity to discuss relevant issues in our industry.

After a few refreshments it was time to stroll down to the
waterfront to embark on our whale watching adventure.

Once we were all geared up in our fashionable floater gear, it
was time to hit the high seas on our high speed zodiac with our
crazy captain that was determined to give us an exciting ride.

It didn't take long for our guide to find some whales and we hung
out with a pod of 15 killer whales for about an hour before leaving
to check out some sun bathing seals. Some high speed turns and
wave jumping off the wake of a moving freighter ensured that
we got our fill of excitement before heading back to the dock.

Everyone survived the trip without a single person getting sick.
Now it was time to find an English Pub to warm up.

After a week in hotels and restaurants we were all treated to a
cozy get together at our Victoria franchisee's home. Our gracious
hosts struck up the barbecue and we all enjoyed chicken & steaks,
not to mention a variety of beverages and a few cigars on the patio.
They were nice enough to arrange for wild deer to be strolling
through the back yard, just to add to the ambiance.

The last day was capped off with the guys taking advantage of
the amazing weather and heading to the beautiful Bear Mountain
Golf Course for a round of golf.

The girls didn't seem to mind as they spent the day shopping and
getting massages.

We look forward to the 2009 convention in October in
Vancouver/Whistler where the city will be buzzing
with anticipation of the 2010 Winter Olympics starting a few
months later in February.
